Ever wonder why our beautiful county, from Torrey Pines to Mt. Woodson to the desert canyons, looks the way it does? Explore the fascinating geology of San Diego. Dr. Jennifer Olim will discuss how volcanoes, faults, and floods have shaped the landscape.

Jennifer Olim is an Adjunct Professor in the Science and Engineering Department at Cuyamaca College. She earned her PhD in geology from the University of Minnesota. Her master's and bachelor's degrees are in physics, from the University of Toronto and University of Victoria.
