Ever heard of a laser cutter? No? Come and find out more about what a laser cutter is, how it works, and use the library's Glowforge laser cutter to make a keepsake. No experience required. Grades 3+ 

Snacks will be provided, sponsored by the Scripps Ranch Friends of the Library. 

What is Girls Who Code? Girls Who Code (GWC) is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to closing the gender gap in technology and computer science. Their mission is to inspire more girls to become computer scientists and engineers. The Scripps Miramar Ranch Library hosts a Girls Who Code club to help girls (and nonbinary students) learn code, make friends, learn about inspiring role models, and give them access to exclusive @GirlsWhoCode alumni benefits.
