Description of Event
The County of San Diego’s Health and Human Service Agency (HHSA) is working on the 2024-2025 Community Action Plan with Arboreta Group LLC. This plan involves assessing community needs through surveys and dialogues across six regions to tackle issues such as health, education, food access, and safety. Primary concerns include the impacts of COVID-19, disability inclusion, and affordable housing, especially in the Central, East, and North Central regions. The assessment integrates various data sources to prioritize urgent issues, develop actionable insights for targeted interventions, and provide a baseline to measure and adjust these interventions over time. This structured approach aims to significantly improve the conditions of community members facing economic and social challenges.
