September 22^nd marks the birthday of both Bilbo and Frodo Baggins, the central characters in J.R.R. Tolkien's classic fantasy books, The Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings trilogy. This date has been widely recognized as Hobbit Day.

Grab your cloak and join Central IDEA Lab for an adventure!

Complete a quest (scavenger hunt) around the library and be rewarded with "treasure" even Smaug the dragon would be envious of.

Rewards include:

Making your own hobbit socks
Designing hobbit earrings
Sewing a leaf of Lorien brooch
...And more!

Drop in anytime between 12 - 3 p.m. to partake in the Hobbit Day festivities. No reservations required.
