LOCAL AUTHORS UNITE: UNBAN OUR BOOKS!
In a flash presentation, local authors will have exactly ninety seconds to introduce themselves, read from a banned book (60 sec max) and take an action against book bans. Guests are invited to take action and add their name/action to our UnBan the Books Board!
Registration is suggested but not required ~ registered Local Authors will have priority for open mic based on registration order +~ raffle tickets will be offered to guests and unregistered authors as time permits
Come to the VTC on the 5th floor from September 22nd - 28th to take action all through Banned Books Week by adding your promise to take action on the banning of books! to stop the banning of books!
