In this 90 minute seminar, Dr. Katherine Williams and Kelly McCullough, LCSW will explore how anxiety impacts child and/or adolescent performance in the school setting. Kelly McCullough, LCSW will review how anxiety manifests differently in children and teens and specific strategies that children/teens, parents, and other support persons can use to help mitigate anxiety symptoms. Dr. Katherine Williams will provide her expertise within the field of psychological testing to explore how anxiety can both negatively and positively impact school performance. Time for questions and answers will be provided at the end. Parents/caregivers and children 11 years and up are welcome to attend.
