Event Details

Please come to this powerful event that  will be a conversation about the film "I am not your Negro" and the question of how was the Negro created and how  and why the Negro must be uncreated. Our panel will include: Starla Lewis (Moderator), Rev. Shane Harris (National Action Network), Thekima D. Mayasa (Department Chair, Mesa College Black Studies), Gloria James (Community Activist), Ibrahim Fardan ( San Diego Black Panther Party) Cheryl Morrow (San Diego Monitor Newspaper), Charles Toombs (Chair and Associate Professor of Africana Studies, San Diego State University (SDSU), Bishop Cornelius Bowser and Tayari Howard (Author, Radio Station Owner and Community Activist).
