Description of Event
Art class, taught by Alice Ouyang, a 10th-grade student at Del Norte High School who has been drawing for eight years and has competed in numerous art competitions, including Scholastic and SDMA.
Class details:
Art Class (Target students: 5th–7th graders)
- Introduction to color theory (warm vs. cool colors, complementary colors, etc.)
- Introduction to perspective
- Basic anatomy (proportions, simplifying poses/gestures, facial features, etc.)
- Introduction to lighting and shading
