Friends of Malcolm X will be celebrating International Women's  Day, with the theme: "#EachforEqual",  An equal world is an enabled world.  We will also be honoring women  that has went "Above and Beyond" in their contributions to the Friends of Malcolm X.   There will be music,  an update on ongoing activities in the Teen IDEA Lab,  Remarks from Councilmember Monica Montgomery, Awarding of awards to honorees,  Keynote Speaker, Dr. JoAnne, Cornwell, music, poetry, Advocacy Request, demonstration of self-care products for women, packaged lunch & bottled water/beverages will be served.
