Event Details

This Library NExT course offers some unusual combinations, like pairing fruit and electronics. Students will learn how to create fun circuits using Makey-Makey circuit boards accentuated with everyday items like gummy bears, tin foil, a bouncy ball or a banana. This Library NExT course infuses art with science and demonstrates how the technology of circuits can be used to create music, paintings and games.

Parking is not guaranteed, non-reserved and on a first-come/first-served basis.
No in-and-out access.  7'2" Max Vehicle Clearance.  
Regular rates apply ($1.25/20 minutes or part thereof) for cash/card payment at the exit after two-hour validation at the lobby.

Space is limited, advance registration is required.

  • I understand students must attend all classes.
  • I understand students should arrive promptly for class and stay for the full duration of the class.
  • I understand this class is part of a partnership with UCSD. These classes differ from our regular programs in that they offer more of a structured, in-depth, and hands-on learning environment.
  • I understand I am responsible for arranging transport with/for my student(s) promptly at the start and end of the class.
  • I understand students should treat each other with respect; failure to do so could result in being dropped from the class.
  • I understand that a break will be included in the program and students are encouraged to bring water and a snack.
