Event Details

We are team 12499 Gear Up and FTC (FIRST Tech Challenge, FIRST Lego League) is a program that exposes kids to the world of robotics and STEM. This session will provide a basic introduction to FTC and FLL robotics and is recommended for 3rd to 7th graders. Come learn about:

Computer Aided Design (CAD) using Sketch-up to create three-dimensional models and the mechanical design of our robot; driving our robot; the Engineering Notebook documenting the team’s work; programming the robot with Java; see our robot chassis; and, try some basic programming.
