The Introduction to Microcontrollers class gives students a basis for learning robotics by programming the Micro:bit microcontroller, a fun hand-held computer. The Micro:bit computers are small, portable, and interact with each other, so you can write programs with your friends! This is a fun, educational, and physically active programming class.

The Micro:Bit is a tiny computer which you can make robots with, you can program the microbit in multiple languages, including Python, Javascript, and Blocks.

Students will need a gmail address to create a free account with Microsoft Makecode. Parents, please stay for the 1st 5-10 minutes of class to help your student create their account. You may also create your free account in advance at https://makecode.microbit.org/
