Drop by the Children's Area to make your very own Japanese Cherry Blossom Windsock Craft in celebration of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month.

 

The Japanese Cherry Blossom Windsock Craft is inspired by the popular Cherry Blossom Festival which is celebrated throughout Japan in the spring time when the cherry blossoms bloom. The cherry blossom, which symbolizes renewal, is the national flower of Japan.

 

The month of May is Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month - a celebration of the achievements and contributions of Asians and Pacific Islanders in the United States.
