Please join us for a free concert that explores Japanese culture with the 13-string Japanese koto ensemble. One of the leading American koto performers in the traditional and jazz arenas, Reiko Obata studied under masters in the U.S. and Japan, including composer virtuoso Shinichi Yuize in Tokyo. Reiko holds master's degrees in music from San Diego State University and the Seiha Conservatory of Japanese Music.
