Event Details

Led by bassist Rob Thorsen, this quartet of well-known jazz musicians leads students through a history of jazz music in America.  The program features the songs, composers and rhythms that make jazz what it is today. This interactive assembly includes demonstrations of the different instruments, the role each instrument plays in the group, improvisation demonstrations and a brief Q&A forum.
