As a result of the "Over-the-Counter Act" signed this year, adults with mild to moderate hearing loss can buy less expensive hearing devices without having to see a hearing professional.
Traditional hearing aids and other devices that give your hearing a boost are flooding the marketplace and are now available from $25 to $700. With the introduction of "Hereables" and "Wearables," and new kinds of microphones that allow you to hear in noisy environments, some folks may not even need a hearing aid anymore!
