Greg Kaplan is the founder of Kaplan Educational Group, an internationally recognized college admissions strategist, a local author, and a graduate of Torrey Pines High School. His new book The Journey: How to Prepare Kids for a Competitive and Changing World examines the mounting challenges of college admissions while encouraging families to tie the journey of college and career to a young person's long-term health, happiness, and financial independence.
