Program Description

Event Details

What makes the novel Ulysses by Irish writer James Joyce so compelling that it continues to attract devoted readers almost 100 years after its publication?  Joyce to the World explores the global phenomenon of “Bloomsday”, celebrated every year on June 16th, the day the novel takes place, and when Joyceans around the world open a book, raise a pint, dress in costumes, perform on Broadway, hold public readings, engage in street parades, and visit the Dublin locations, following the footsteps of their fictional heroes.

And join us for live readings from Ulysses and other Irish stories on Friday, June 16 at 7:00 pm in the Neil Morgan Auditorium
