Program Description

Event Details

Take a walk back in time with us as we discover the tale of two libraries: Kensington on the east and Normal Heights on the west. We'll go back to the early 20th Century when the city lines split the two neighborhoods in half! San Diego Public Library on one side, San Diego County Library on the other! A friendly rivalry that still stands to this day. We invite all guests at the event and anyone who wants to in the future to bring in any photographs of the libraries so we can put them into the library's digital collection.
