Event Details

Now in its 13th year, the Kick the Flu Summit will convene medical, health, and community service providers from both public and private sectors to share information, collaborate, and strategize about how to promote and increase the rate of flu immunizations throughout San Diego County during the 2017-18 influenza season. The Summit is presented by the San Diego Immunization Coalition (SDIC), a community group that consists of nearly 750 individuals from over 150 partner organizations working together to identify and develop approaches to raise immunization coverage for all residents of the region.

Our keynote speaker is Carlos Velazquez, MA, who serves as the Project Manager for CDC's National Influenza Vaccine Disparities Partnership and president of HM Associates, a cultural communications firm in Washington, DC. 

Morning refreshments will be served.
