Event Details

Please join La Jolla Pen Women members and friends for a presentation by Dawna Taylor Jones, Muralist.

We will have an opportunity to learn from Dawna how her career path led her to become a muralist. Dawna's hundreds of public and private mural commissions since 1984 have included multiple facets of fine and decorative art. She is recognized for her skill and knowledge of the historic and classical aspects of trompe l'oeil art as well as the Scandinavian and Ukrainian folk arts.

Dawna’s Mission Statement: "All art forms, simply stated, are subjective expression. The godliness in each human soul has an innate craving to be understood and then to reach out and share. If life has been good, the pendulum usually shifts to the latter. For me, life has been very good. My passion is sharing."

La Jolla Pen Women is a group of 'professional' writers, artists, and composers meeting on the third Monday of every month, each month with a different topic.

Open to the public.
