The La Jolla Theatre Ensemble will present a Staged Reading of VISITING MR. GREEN -- by Jeffrey Baron, on Saturday afternoon, February 3rd at 2pm AND Tuesday evening, February 6th at 6pm.

Starring Haig Koshkarian as Mr. Green, Michael Cusimano as Ross, and directed by John Tessmer.

Mr. Green is an 80-something year-old Jewish widower; he is nearly hit by a car driven by Ross Gardiner, a corporate executive at least two generations younger.  Convicted of reckless driving, Ross is ordered by the sentencing judge to visit his near-victim every week for six months. 

Initially comic, the play begins with the unlikely pair forced to spend time together but then evolves into a poignant drama, as Ross and Mr. Green come to reveal both family secrets and themselves.
