LEARN CODING THROUGH ART! This FREE four-day camp is for 11-15 year-olds and will take place on 6/13, 6/14 , 6/15, and 6/16 from 3-6pm at Rancho Peñasquitos Branch Library, 13330 Salmon River Rd, San Diego, CA 92129. Please bring your own computer. If you are unable to, send us an email and we will let you borrow one!

On day 1, camp participants will learn about the Internet and program using Python Turtle. With Python Turtle, students will learn to use the Python programming language to draw various different shapes and pictures. On day 2, participants will learn about the three main programming languages used to build websites. They will also start their very own website project, using the HTML language to build the structure. On day 3, participants will learn about CSS and implement this language into their website project. On day 4, participants will finish their websites, learn about the binary system, and use binary to make art. They will also make a physical LED card that lights up that they can take home
