Program Description

Event Details

In this workshop, students will use circuit elements to build hardware they can use to explore heat transfer on Earth and in space. Students will work in teams to design an experiment and test a hypothesis of their choosing. In the Arduino environment, they will be able to translate their experimental design into code and upload it to the International Space Station to see how microgravity and the space environment affect heat transfer.

This project is funded in whole or in part with Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program funds provided by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to the City of San Diego.
