Before generative AI (GAI) art, there was digital art and CGI. You've seen movies where credits list digital artists for backgrounds and effects. Now, technology can turn words into images, raising questions about human involvement and trust. Are these technologies just tools, or collaborators in art? Generative AI art must consider how much human input defines authorship and copyright. These questions are crucial as we explore the evolving role of AI in art.
