Event Details

Join us for a fantastic presentation by the San Diego Chinese Historical Museum about Lunar New Year! The presentation will last approximately 1 hour and we will have a short craft time after!

Presentation description: The Chinese Lunar New Year celebration is a festive time. The celebration is based on the Lunar calendar thus it differs from the New Year’s celebration that occurs on December 31st. In the presentation, we will discuss the traditional celebrations, the Dragon Dance, and the origins of Zodiac Signs. 

 

Recommended for ages 5-11. No registration necessary. Crafts while supplies last.
