Program Description

Event Details

Nico Hueso, faculty member for Villa Musica, will sing and play guitar and violin in this free concert. Nico has recorded in various music studios from Nashville to Los Angeles, and has the knack for improvising and playing off-the-cuff when needed at the studio. Nico has toured extensively throughout Latin America, the Caribbean, Europe, and Asia. Tours include orchestral and chamber performances, along with accompanying Plácido Domingo (one of the “Three Tenors”) and crooner Johnny Mathis.

The music will include traditional songs of Mexico, Americana, and such singer-songwriters as Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, and James Taylor.
