'Make & Design a Mini-Zine' in this virtual workshop, presented by IDEA Lab, San Diego Central Library.

New to Zines? Interested to find out what it's all about and learn how to make one? Join us for a basic intro during this live virtual session. 

The following topics will be covered during the program:

  • Basic definition of Zines.
  • Learn about the San Diego Central Library zine collection.
  • Learn how to submit your zine to the collection.
  • Watch a 5 minute video on how you can fold and illustrate your mini-zine.
  • Virtual assistance with developing your mini-zine by traditional hand drawing or digital method.

Optional: If you wish to participate in zine making, please prepare the following supplies (scissors, letter size blank sheet of paper, something to write and draw with). If you will have questions regarding digital design, I will be available to answer your questions during the later half of the program.

This session will be held through Zoom. Registration is required. Once signed up, a Zoom link will be emailed to you.
