Shital Parikh, a seasoned Master Gardener and Master Composter since 2014, passionately cultivates food, pollinator gardens, and native plants. With over a decade of experience in companion planting and crop rotation, she enhances soil health for bountiful harvests. Shital has been growing food in her home garden in Carmel Valley, where her dedication to sustainability blossoms. Her leadership roles in the Del Mar Mesa Garden Club and Friends of Del Mar Mesa showcase her commitment to promoting habitat preservation. Committed to ecological stewardship, she actively contributes to the San Diego Biodiversity Task Force, advocating for a greener future through community engagement and education.
