Matt Smith brings his own compositions and drumming along San Diego staples Rob Thorsen on bass and Louis Valenzuela on guitar. Together this group shares long history of friendship, and musicality that is sure to perk up the ears of any listener.
Drummer and composer Matthew Elton Smith was born and raised in San Diego, CA, Clairemont high 07’ and has been seen on stage with jazz artists such as Bill Cunliffe, Ricky Woodard, Dayna Stephens, San Diego’s own Gilbert Castellanos, and Peter Sprague.
