Meet Chris Ryall

Event Details

March 1 - 7 is Will Eisner Week, and as part of our weeklong celebration, the University Heights Branch library is proud to present an evening with Chris Ryall. Chris Ryall boasts a prolific career as a writer, editor, and publisher. Currently the co-founder and publisher at Image Comics imprint, Syzygy Publishing, Ryall has been involved in publishing in San Diego for over 20 years. He is the former Chief Creative Officer at IDW Publishing, as well as the writer/co-creator of graphic novels Zombies vs Robots, Onyx, Groom Lake, The Hollows, Dreamweaver, and Dread the Halls. In addition to writing the graphic-novel adaptation of Megalopolis alongside Francis Ford Coppola, he has adapted the works of Clive Barker, Stephen King, Harlan Ellison, Richard Matheson, and others to comic-book form.
