Event Details

The USS Midway’s final deployment to Vietnam was not to wage war.  It was to rescue more than 3,000 refugees in South Vietnam’s final hours.  Experience the hair-raising Operation Frequent Wind that became the largest rescue mission in U.S. Navy history.  A mission that broke rules, set precedents, and gave thousands a second chance at freedom.
