Stop by the Children's Area to create your very own mini piñata, fill it with candy, and pick out a free book to keep in celebration of Día de los Niños/Día de los Libros.

 

Día de los niños/Día de los libros (Children's Day/Book Day), commonly known as Día, is a celebration every day of children, families, and reading that culminates yearly on April 30. The celebration emphasizes the importance of literacy for children of all linguistic and cultural backgrounds.

 

Geared towards children in grades 3-6 but all are welcome to attend while supplies last (younger children may require assistance from an adult).

 

The Mini Piñata Craft will be available to the first 15 participants (registration is encouraged).
