Event Details

Lynn Cullens, executive director of the Mountain Lion Foundation, will discuss mountain lion biology and behavior, the life cycle of a mountain lion, how best to stay safe when hiking or biking, tips for pets and livestock owners, and helpful information about how a neighborhood can work together to live safely in mountain lion country.

As well, Ms. Cullens will provide information about how mountain lion researchers, some very nearby, have helped us to better understand these wild cats, and how we are now increasingly informed about the value of mountain lions, the threats they face, and how the choices we make will determine their fate in Southern California.
