This December, dive into "Helltown" by Casey Sherman with our spirited group! A very limited number of copies are available at SDPL so consider getting a copy via our partner libraries through Circuit and Link+.

In 1969 Provincetown, charismatic Tony Costa leads a hippie movement while secretly killing young women. Writers Kurt Vonnegut and Norman Mailer investigate the case as they compete to document the shocking events

The true crime book club discusses some of the best books of the genre. Despite gruesome stories and repulsive characters, these subjects often promote considerations of sociological and psychological perspectives.  We promise a lively conversation about the book and other true crime stories. This virtual series meets on Zoom on the third Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m.
