Program Description

Event Details

Here we discuss the best true crime books.  While the stories can be gruesome and the characters repulsive, the stories entertain and often promote considerations of sociological and psychological perspectives.  We will discuss the narratives and the storytelling.  We meet in a hybrid format on the third Tuesday of the month at 6:30 pm.  This month we will discuss I’ll Be Gone in the Dark: One Woman's Obsessive Search for the Golden State Killer by Michelle McNamara.  Limited copies will be held and ready for checkout at the 1st floor service desk, or you may reserve a copy to pick up at your preferred branch.

A book jacket depicting a black and white image of a house behind four trees.
