Program Description

Event Details

Here we discuss the best true crime books.  While the stories can be gruesome and the characters repulsive, the stories entertain and often promote considerations of sociological and psychological perspectives.  We will discuss the narratives and the storytelling.  We meet via Zoom on the third Tuesday of the month at 6:30 pm.  This month's selection is "The Devil at his Elbow".  Through masterful research and cinematic writing, The Devil at His Elbow is a transporting journey through Alex Murdaugh’s life, the night of the murders, and the investigation that culminated in a trial that held tens of millions spellbound. With her stunning insights and fearless instinct for the truth, the author uncovers layers of the Murdaugh murder case that have not been told.  A very limited number of copies are available at SDPL.  Keep in mind SDCL and Link+.   Reach out to me if you need help procuring a copy.
