Program Description

Event Details

Join us this April for NaPoWriMo weekly writing sessions in-person and/or virtually. We are offering a motivating space, writing materials, and a chance to win prizes in for your participation in the NaPoWriMo challenge. This is an opportunity to sit with other aspiring writers and practice your writing. You can write about anything or any subject you want, or find inspiring prompts HERE to get you going.

Registration required. Light refreshments served.

NaPoWriMo or National Poetry Writing Month is a creative writing project held annually in April in which participants attempt to write a poem each day for one month. It coincides with National Poetry Month in the U.S. and Canada.

NOTE: Due to our neighbors, the Padres, playing at Petco Park stadium, please be aware that the special parking rates may be in place at the time of this event. We highly recommend using public transit or to attend virtually if this will adversely affect your attendance. Thank you!

If you cannot make it to our weekly writing club, but you would still like an opportunity to participate in NaPoWriMo with us, please join our daily email club to receive poetry prompts and inspiration once per day through the end of April: Click Here to sign up.
