Program Description

Event Details

National Night Out is an annual event where you're invited to lock your doors, turn on outside lights, and spend the evening outside with people like yourself who care about our neighborhood!  On the PB Library's Taylor Greene (park facing Dawes Ave) you are invited to come to eat, enjoy activities, and get to better know your neighbors, local police, and elected officials!

6:30pm : St. Andrew’s by-the-Sea Episcopal Church will serve dinner ... there's room at the table for all of us!
7:00pm : Pre movie activities TBA -- Including a visit from Odi the Coyote
8:00pm : Free screening under the stars of Sing (2016, PG, 108 minutes).  Bring a blanket or chairs and get comfy cozy.

Description of Sing: A koala impresario stages a gala singing competition in order to save his theater, and the contest attracts the attention of such musically inclined animals as a harried pig mom, a teenage gorilla, a shy elephant and a punk porcupine.

Join forces with thousands of communities nationwide for the 38th Annual National Night Out (NNO) crime and drug prevention event!  NNO involves over 16,500 communities from all 50 states, and over 38.5 million people are expected to participate in "America's Night Out Against Crime."
