Event Details

Native American Abel Silvas portrays Running Grunion, The California Indian Storyteller. His stories reveal what life was like for his family throughout the history of California from pre-Contact long ago to the Spanish/ Mission period, to the Mexican/Rancho period and to American/reservation periods. Kids and families will learn how the indigenous California peoples adapted to change and continue to be a vital part of today’s society.
