Program Description

Event Details

The San Diego River is an oft-neglected local natural resource right in our own community. Join Ally Welborn, Community Engagement Manager of the San Diego River Park Foundation, as she reports on the ecological health of our river, using indicators such as water quality, trash, and invasive plants. An explanation will be given on how volunteers work together to collect environmental data that is used to measure habitat restoration progress, plan further studies, coordinate trash clean-up efforts, inform policy makers and more!

Join the conversation as we learn about the environmental well-being of our San Diego River.
