Event Details

What is the history of the land occupied today by Camp Pendleton, the world’s largest amphibious base? Through words and pictures we will tell the stories of the Native Americans, the missionaries of Mission San Luis Rey, and the Mexican ranchero of Rancho Santa Margarita y La Flores, and finally how the U.S. Marines made this their home in Southern California.
