Program Description

Event Details

What can you learn about history from historical novels? Blaine Davies leads a discussion of U.S. historical novels and how they can help us better understand what it was like to have experienced the dramatic events in our country’s history firsthand. History is more interesting and relevant when one views it from a “present” perspective like the people that were actually there and did not yet know the outcome of the events that shaped our country.  Sponsored by the San Carlos Friends of the Library (SCFOL).
