A death café is a “gathering to eat cake, drink tea and discuss death,” according to founder, Jon Underwood of London in 2011. Its purpose is to increase our awareness of death to help us make the most of our (finite) life. There is no agenda, no objectives, no themes; just an opportunity to share one’s thoughts and to listen to others as they share theirs. All that is required is an open mind, open heart, curiosity and a desire to talk about a difficult subject. Light refreshments will be served. Please arrive arrive on time.
