Program Description

Event Details

Sometimes known as a Surrealist painter, Frida Kahlo (1907-1954) is probably Mexico’s best-known artist, known for her vibrant colors, unflinching self-portraiture, and her celebration of indigenous culture.  Join Professor of Humanities Gwenyth Mapes to take an in-depth look at Kahlo’s life and art.  This event is free and open to the public, and there is no need to preregister.
