Event Details

Philosophical Taoism is said to have originated with Lao Tzu (Laozi) in the 6th century BCE. Taoist philosophy concerns living in harmony with the Tao (the "Way"), whereas religious Taoism can include veneration of gods. In this lecture, we will discuss Taoism's enduring principles, and look at some of Taoist religious art.
