The word “Vikings” has long conjured images of ruthless raiders, but Vikings were also skilled seamen, fearless explorers, warrior-conquerors, nation builders and astute merchants. Learn about the Viking Age, from CE 790 to 1100, a time when Viking dragon ships spread terror and devastation across the seas and along the rivers of Europe. This lecture is free and open to the public, and no registration is required.
