Butcher, Baker, Candlestick Maker

This photography exhibition highlights the resilience and collaboration of local small businesses, which is especially relevant, as Architectural Digest (April 2024) named San Diego “the most expensive city in America.”

Butcher, Baker, Candlestick Maker features 12 larger than life photographs of local artisan businesses – butchers from Valley Farm Market and the Meatery, bakers Hija Del Maiz and Astra Bakehouse, and candlestick makers Moo Lala and 1502 Candles – all residents of San Diego County.

Applications will be considered on a first-come basis. Organizations and individuals based in San Diego or serving primarily San Diego residents, which have not used exhibit space within the past year, will be given priority.
