Erica Alarcon

October 22-November 30, 2022

Erica Alarcon is a Latina Artist based in San Diego, California who has lived and worked in multiple U.S. cities as well as abroad. She enjoys traveling and continues to be inspired by whimsical, colorful and traditional folk art. One of her passions is to work with recycled materials; wooden boards make a great canvas, unused house paint gets used in paintings, her husband’s old motorcycle helmet is transformed into a Dias de Los Muertos (Day of The Dead) sugar skull, and objects like old keys and scrap metal find a home in her art as well.
