Fleet on the Go

Einstein Seem & Light Prism

June 13– August 2, 2024

The Fleet Science Center is a county-wide organization with a mission to realize a San Diego where everyone is connected to the power of science. We are excited to connect with learners where they live, work and play by partnering with community organizations, including libraries, youth spaces, community hubs, etc. that have interest and space in hosting exhibits and interactives from the Fleet Science Center.

With Einstein Seen, explore the power of a pixel. Close up, this image is unclear, but from far away you can see a portrait of Albert Einstein. This exhibit demonstrates the power of a pixel, which we see in photographs, digital imagery and even out phones.

With Light Prism, visitors will explore the effects of prisms, mirrors, and lenses on light.
